PILOT LEAGUE / ROSTER.RIP
Contest Rules
Effective October 8, 2026
No purchase necessary to enter or win. You can play, score, and win entirely for free.
Start free — The Wire
You don’t need to spend anything to play. The Wire is a free contest: enter with free cards, win, and earn packs that grow your collection and open up more contests.
Who can play
You need a Pilot League account, you must be 21+, and you must be somewhere these contests are allowed (void where prohibited). People who help run a contest can’t win it.
Collecting cards
Card packs are how you build a collection — the pilots you want, the positions you’re short on, the ones you’d rather trade for. What you collect is yours to play, trade, or hold.
Prizes & funding
Pilot League funds the prizes. A contest’s prize is announced before it starts and doesn’t depend on entries, payments, or pack sales — nothing you pay is pooled into a prize. Prizes may pay in USDC on Solana or another stated method; you may need to connect a wallet to receive an on-chain prize (we’ll never ask for your seed phrase), and network issues can delay a payout.
Entering a contest
Each contest’s page lists its window, eligible cards, required lineup, scoring, lock time, prize, and tiebreakers — that’s part of these rules, but no contest page can remove “no purchase necessary.”
Scoring, lock & ties
Scores come from real players’ real performances via the contest’s formula (shown before lock). Submit before the deadline; once locked it’s final unless we open an adjustment for everyone. Ties use the stated tiebreaker or split evenly. We fix obvious data/scoring errors the same way for everyone.
Fair play
One account per person. No extra accounts, bots, collusion, exploits, or fake identities.
If something breaks
This is a proof-of-concept; outages and bugs happen. If a contest can’t run as announced, we may cancel, postpone, reschedule, or adjust it consistently for everyone.
Claiming & taxes
Winners may need to verify eligibility and provide info to pay a prize lawfully — but never a fee to claim one. You’re responsible for taxes on what you win.
Results, independence & changes
We may show usernames, lineups, scores, and prizes won (never your private/tax info just for winning). Pilot League is independent — not affiliated with any league, team, players association, stats provider, the Solana Foundation, Circle, or anyone else. We may update these rules for future contests but won’t change a running contest’s prize or scoring except to fix an error or follow the law.
