Terms of Use

1Agreement

These Terms govern access to Pilot League and roster.rip. Pilot League is operated by Friends in SoCal LLC. By creating an account, using Pilot League, purchasing a Pilot League collectible, or participating in a Pilot League contest, you agree to these Terms.

2Proof-of-Concept Platform

Pilot League is currently operated as a proof of concept. The product may contain experimental functionality, incomplete features, software bugs, changing gameplay mechanics, blockchain integrations, and services that may later be modified or discontinued.

3Age Requirement

You must be at least 21 years old to create an account, purchase a Pilot League collectible, or participate in a prize contest during the proof-of-concept period.

4Free Prize Contests

No purchase or deposit is required to participate in Pilot League promotional prize contests. Prize contests are governed by the Pilot League Official Contest Rules and the applicable Contest Page.

Purchasing a Pilot League collectible does not provide an additional contest entry or an exclusive competitive scoring advantage unavailable to free participants.

5Accounts and Wallets

You are responsible for activity associated with your account and for maintaining control over credentials and wallets under your control. Unless Pilot League expressly permits otherwise, a person may maintain only one account.

Pilot League may use third-party wallet or blockchain infrastructure, including embedded-wallet services. Never provide Pilot League with a seed phrase or private key. Pilot League will not ask you to disclose those credentials.

6Solana Network

Some Pilot League collectibles, transfers, or prize payments may use the Solana blockchain. Public blockchain transactions may be irreversible, publicly visible, and subject to network congestion, outages, validator conditions, protocol changes, wallet compatibility, and transaction fees.

Pilot League does not control the Solana network and does not guarantee uninterrupted network availability.

7USDC and Other Digital Assets

Pilot League may accept or distribute USDC or other supported payment assets through disclosed payment methods. Digital assets can fluctuate in value and may be subject to blockchain, wallet, tax, and regulatory risks.

During the proof-of-concept period, users are not required to deposit, stake, or risk USDC, SOL, or another digital asset in order to enter a Pilot League prize contest.

Pilot League does not promise that USDC will always maintain a particular exchange value and does not guarantee the solvency, operation, or continued availability of any third-party digital-asset issuer, wallet provider, exchange, network, or payment processor.

8Optional Digital Collectibles

Pilot League may offer optional digital collectibles containing artwork, metadata, scarcity characteristics, edition information, blockchain provenance, cosmetic features, collection functionality, or other features disclosed at the time of sale.

Collectible ownership is separate from the right to participate in promotional prize contests.

9Collectibles Are Not Investments

Pilot League collectibles are intended as entertainment and collectible products. Pilot League does not promise financial appreciation, investment returns, profit, liquidity, resale demand, a minimum resale price, continued market value, or future utility.

Do not purchase a collectible based on an expectation that Pilot League will cause its market value to increase.

10No Guaranteed Future Utility

Roadmaps, proposed features, planned game modes, future integrations, potential benefits, and other forward-looking statements may change. Unless expressly guaranteed in writing as part of a purchase, future functionality is not part of a collectible purchase.

11Purchases and Payment Processing

Collectible purchases may be processed through supported third-party payment or blockchain infrastructure. The available currency, digital asset, network, fees, and settlement method may vary by transaction.

A collectible purchase is separate from Pilot League prize-contest participation. A purchase does not create an additional contest entry or purchase-only scoring advantage.

12Refunds

Eligible direct purchases are governed by the Pilot League Proof-of-Concept Refund Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13Ownership and Intellectual Property

Ownership of a digital collectible does not transfer ownership of the Pilot League brand, software, underlying artwork copyright, trademarks, game engine, scoring system, website, designs, or other intellectual property except to the extent expressly stated in writing.

Subject to these Terms, a lawful owner receives a limited personal license to display associated collectible artwork for personal, noncommercial purposes and within supported Pilot League functionality.

14Third-Party Rights and No Affiliation

Names, trademarks, statistics, publicity rights, brands, and other intellectual property belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Pilot League is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or affiliated with any professional football league, team, players association, athlete, Solana Foundation, Circle, wallet provider, blockchain network, payment processor, or statistics provider.

15Acceptable Use

You may not interfere with Pilot League infrastructure; attempt unauthorized access; manipulate contests or scoring; use bots or automation to create unfair gameplay advantages; exploit software vulnerabilities; impersonate another person; conduct fraudulent transactions; launder funds; evade sanctions; or use Pilot League in violation of applicable law.

16Compliance and Transaction Review

Pilot League may delay, refuse, reverse where technically possible, or otherwise decline a transaction, prize payment, collectible delivery, or account action where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, comply with sanctions or other legal requirements, protect platform security, or verify eligibility.

17Availability

Pilot League does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Services may become unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, outages, blockchain conditions, wallet-provider failures, service-provider failures, security events, or technical problems.

18Disclaimers

Pilot League is provided on an experimental proof-of-concept basis and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Pilot League does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, future collectible value, or availability of any future feature.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

19Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pilot League will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or speculative losses arising from use of the proof-of-concept service. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

20Suspension and Termination

Pilot League may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, cheating, abuse, legal requirements, security threats, or material violations of these Terms. Termination does not eliminate an otherwise valid refund obligation for an eligible direct purchase.

21Changes

Pilot League may update these Terms as the proof of concept develops. The effective date will be updated when changes are published. Terms applicable to a completed collectible purchase will not be retroactively changed to eliminate a refund right that existed when that purchase occurred.

22Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent another law must apply.
