Privacy Policy

1Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Pilot League and roster.rip collect, use, disclose, and protect information. Pilot League is operated by Friends in SoCal LLC.

2Information We Collect

Account information. We may collect username, display name, email address, age or age-confirmation information, and authentication information.

Wallet information. If you connect or use a blockchain wallet, including an embedded wallet, we may collect or associate the public wallet address with your Pilot League account.

Transaction information. We may process information concerning collectible purchases, refunds, USDC or SOL transfers, payment status, transaction identifiers, blockchain transactions, and prize payments.

Gameplay information. We may collect information concerning cards, lineups, equipment selections, contests entered, scores, standings, rankings, wins, and other Pilot League interactions.

Device and usage information. We or our service providers may automatically receive IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, timestamps, pages viewed, referring pages, session information, and interactions with Pilot League.

Communications. We may retain support requests, refund requests, feedback, reports, and other messages you send to Pilot League.

Verification and tax information. Where reasonably necessary to verify eligibility, prevent fraud, process prizes, or comply with law, we may request identity, residency, age, sanctions-screening, or tax information.

3How We Use Information

We may use information to operate Pilot League; create and maintain accounts; authenticate users; connect accounts and wallets; administer free promotional contests; calculate scores and rankings; deliver digital collectibles; process payments and refunds; distribute prizes; verify eligibility; detect multiple accounts, cheating, exploitation, and fraud; maintain security; improve the product; communicate service information; comply with tax, sanctions, legal, and regulatory obligations; and enforce Pilot League rules and terms.

4Public Gameplay and Blockchain Information

Certain gameplay information may be publicly visible, including a username, public wallet identifier, roster selections, collectible ownership, scores, rankings, contest results, and prizes.

Blockchain networks are public systems Pilot League does not control. Public wallet addresses, collectible transfers, token identifiers, USDC or SOL transfers, transaction hashes, timestamps, and other blockchain activity may be permanently recorded and publicly visible. Information written to a public blockchain generally cannot be deleted or modified by Pilot League.

5Wallet Security

Pilot League does not need your wallet seed phrase or private key to provide ordinary account support and will not ask you to disclose those credentials. Do not send a seed phrase or private key to Pilot League or another user.

6Service Providers

Pilot League may use third-party companies for web hosting, cloud infrastructure, authentication, wallet infrastructure, blockchain services, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, fraud prevention, customer support, compliance screening, and security. These providers may process information as reasonably necessary to provide their services.

7Legal and Safety Disclosures

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process; investigate fraud, sanctions, or security incidents; protect Pilot League, users, or others; enforce agreements; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

8Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

During the Pilot League proof-of-concept period, Pilot League does not sell personal information for money and does not intend to share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If these practices materially change, this policy will be updated and legally required choices will be provided.

9Cookies and Similar Technologies

Pilot League may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technologies for authentication, security, account functionality, fraud prevention, preferences, and basic product analytics.

10Tracking Signals

Some browsers provide "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no single universally accepted standard for interpreting all such signals, Pilot League does not currently respond differently to ordinary browser Do Not Track settings unless required by applicable law. Where applicable law requires recognition of a legally recognized browser-based opt-out preference signal, Pilot League will process it as required.

11Data Retention

Pilot League retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain transaction and contest records, process refunds, prevent fraud, maintain security, resolve disputes, and comply with legal, accounting, or tax obligations. Public blockchain information may remain permanently available independently of Pilot League.

12Security

Pilot League uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No online service, blockchain network, database, wallet, or electronic transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

13Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights concerning personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information concerning how information is used or disclosed.

Requests may be sent to support@roster.rip. Pilot League may need to verify a request before acting on it. Certain records may be retained where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, transaction records, tax obligations, legal compliance, or establishing or defending legal claims.

14California Residents

California residents may have additional rights under applicable California privacy law. Where applicable, these may include rights concerning access, correction, deletion, disclosure, and certain forms of sale or sharing of personal information. Pilot League will not unlawfully discriminate against a user for exercising an applicable privacy right.

15Children

Pilot League is not directed to children under 13. Pilot League proof-of-concept accounts, collectible purchases, and prize contests are intended only for users age 21 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

16Changes

Pilot League may update this Privacy Policy as the service develops. The effective date will be updated when changes are published. If required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
